While the distance to the old town was a bit of a trek, we managed. the lack of overhead lighting in the bathroom made morning routines challenging, especially for makeup.

On the downside, the occasionally sparse amenities for seniors and the small pool area detracted from the experience slightly. Still, the overall atmosphere remained welcoming and vibrant, making it a memorable visit.

I was truly impressed by the hotel's modern design and attention to cleanliness. It had spacious areas that made it easy to navigate. The staff were exceptionally helpful, accommodating my needs with kindness and efficiency during my stay.

More senior-friendly amenities would be appreciated.

The breakfast was a highlight with a wonderful selection of dishes, especially the freshly baked croissants. On the downside, I struggled with very weak shower water pressure. 😕

The location felt a bit distant from the old town, making explorations less convenient. The lack of operational facilities like the rooftop bar and swimming pool diminished the overall experience, and I had a frustrating time switching rooms due to views being obstructed, which left me wanting more from my stay.

we loved our stay at grand mercure hanoi! the rooms were so comfy and spacious, and the staff were super friendly and always ready to help. breakfast was amaze with loads of options, especially admiring the hustle of hanoi through the big windows. the concierge team was really helpful too, helping us plan our day trips. overall, the vibe of the hotel was so chill and really well maintained.

the only bummer was the location as it’s a bit far from the old town, and the bathroom could’ve used better lighting.
