A helpful guide to explore Hanoi
Our stay began with a surprising warm welcome from the staff. River’s city guide app enhanced our adventure, making city exploration effortless and fun. Everything felt crisp and new, a refreshing stay overall.
While the distance to the old town was a bit of a trek, we managed. the lack of overhead lighting in the bathroom made morning routines challenging, especially for makeup.

The spacious room boasted modern design and a striking bathroom view, enhancing the luxurious feel of the stay. A standout breakfast featuring traditional meals was a delightful start to each day, complemented by friendly staff who provided attentive service. On the downside, the occasionally sparse amenities for seniors and the small pool area detracted from the experience slightly. Still, the overall atmosphere remained welcoming and vibrant, making it a memorable visit.

The spacious Deluxe King Room featured a modern design and provided a comfortable retreat with clean, crisp finishes. A well-stocked breakfast buffet offered delightful options, like freshly baked croissants, enhancing the morning experience.
The location felt a bit distant from the old town, making explorations less convenient. The lack of operational facilities like the rooftop bar and swimming pool diminished the overall experience, and I had a frustrating time switching rooms due to views being obstructed, which left me wanting more from my stay.

we loved our stay at grand mercure hanoi! the rooms were so comfy and spacious, and the staff were super friendly and always ready to help. breakfast was amaze with loads of options, especially admiring the hustle of hanoi through the big windows. the concierge team was really helpful too, helping us plan our day trips. overall, the vibe of the hotel was so chill and really well maintained.
the only bummer was the location as it’s a bit far from the old town, and the bathroom could’ve used better lighting.
